[New Feature] Inventory Management with Store Pickup & Delivery Date app by Secomapp

Inventory is the value of a particular product that is available for sale. Managing inventory can avoid selling products that are out of stock or let you know when you need to add more of your product.

In the Inventory section of Shopify, you can set inventory tracking, view your inventory status and adjust the quantity. You can also view the history of all inventory adjustments for products and variants whose inventory is being tracked by Shopify.

Our Store Pickup & Delivery Date app is about providing in-store pickup and delivery option services for your online store.

Now! Based on the demand of our beloved customers during experiencing Store Pickup & Delivery Date app, we Secomapp have collected several customer’s suggestions and came up with a new powerful feature: Inventory Management. Specifically, our customers want to inform their buyers whether the selected products for pickup are available or are out of stock.

From now on, you are able to manage your inventory with Store Pickup & Delivery Date app. We provide 2 different kinds of options for you:

  1. Manage Inventory with Product Tags

With this option, you can show certain available products on a store location by adding Product Tags. In other words, the locations in which you add the product tags of the products that customers are searching for will be displayed for pickup availability on the map.

In case a product in one of your store locations is out of stock, you need to remove the tag of the product in that location. This will avoid that store location from being displayed on the map when customers search for a pick-up location.

Another option for you to manage your inventory after every pick-up order is syncing the Store Locations you added in Store Pickup & Delivery Date app backend with your specific Shopify Location.

Different from the option of managing inventory with product tags, managing Inventory by Shopify Location will automatically check the stock for you. If the product that customers choose is out of stock or not enough in a store location, that store location will automatically not appear on the map for pick-up availability.
